Tiffany York, Contemporary and Public Programs Manager, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

Tiffany York supports artists and engagements that foster creative exchanges, dialogue, and opportunities for learning. In 2000 she joined the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum to manage the Artist-in-Residence program, contemporary exhibitions and public programs. Since then she has worked with over 80 artists from around the globe and has helped produce nearly 50 exhibitions, projects, and performances at the museum. She has also served on several art advisory committees, juries and panels. Ms. York received her BA at Tufts University and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Prior to the Gardner she worked as a jeweler and co-founded and directed Boston’s White Elephant Gallery, which exhibited work of up-and-coming artists in all media.
