Tamara Roy

2012_Tamara_headshotTamara Roy AIA, LEED AP is a Senior Associate Principal at ADD Inc. She is an architect and urban designer specializing in multifamily residential, academic, and commercial projects. She was the design team leader for the newly completed residence hall at MassArt, recently described as ‘the most interesting Boston highrise in years’ by the Boston Globe.  Tamara received her Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie-Mellon, and her Masters of Urban Design and Architecture from the Berlage Institute, an international think-tank in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.  She was a project architect at the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Genoa, Italy and she is a frequent guest critic at Harvard, RISD, MassArt, and Northeastern University. Tamara is a Boston Society of Architects Board Member and she recently won the BSA Women In Design ‘Award of Excellence’ for 2012.
