Mina Kim, Assistant Director, The Fenway Alliance

A native New Englander and an avid traveler, Mina enjoys discovering the unique identities and quirks of various cultures, cities, and individuals. She also really loves snow and was a fan of this past winter.

Prior to joining the Alliance, Mina managed content and editorial development for economics and finance textbooks at Pearson Education in Boston. After a couple of years in publishing, she traveled to Kazakhstan on a Fulbright fellowship, and stayed an extra year in Central Asia while working in  the Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations Department at KIMEP, an English-language university. As the Associate Director of the department, she conceptualized new marketing and branding initiatives, and helped facilitate interdepartmental efforts throughout the school.

After she returned from Kazakhstan, Mina worked in the marketing department at the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where she managed holiday, public art, and fashion events. During this time, she realized she loved studying Bostonians in their natural habitat and wanted to learn more about the city. She's very glad to be a part of the Fenway Alliance, an organization that is based on strengthening partnerships and active collaboration.
